Olá.
Obrigado por fazerem isto comigo, significa mesmo muito para mim.
A questão do que o termo Lar é/significa e a idea de identidade bicultural tem estado presente na minha mente, nas minhas notas e no meu browser por algum tempo. E uma esperança recém encontrada trouxe de volta esse sentimento de Lar em relação ao sitio onde nasci.
E também é sempre melhor estar em companhia.
Depois de ler o meu histórico, estados em redes sociais e conversas de Skype guardadas detectei o influxo de sites Portugueses ou noticias relacionadas com Portugal nas minhas jornadas pela web nos últimos tempos.
A minha ligação mais forte a Portugal é a internet. É somente via internet que comunico com toda a gente em Portugal e sei de assuntos relacionados com Portugal. É só aqui que leio sobre as vitorias em lutas que um dia eu ajudei nas ruas.

Thank you for doing this with me, it really means a lot.
The question of what Home is/means and the idea of bicultural identity has been on my mind, notebook and browser for quite a while. And a recently found hope has brought back the feeling of Home over my birth place.
It’s also just nicer to be in company.
After going through my browser history, social media status and saved Skype conversations I detected the influx of Portuguese websites and Portugal related news in my web journeys lately.
My strongest connection to Portugal is the internet. It’s solely via internet that I communicate with everyone in Portugal and hear about all matters related to Portugal.
It’s only here that I read about victories in fights I once joined in the streets.

Andre Neely is a Writer and Artist using experimental writing and live-art to create spaces of reflection and confrontation over issues of the self within contemporary society.
He has exhibited and performed in Portugal, Pakistan and France. In the UK Andre has worked with the Theatre 503, the V&A, Soho Theatre, Fierce Festival and Tate Modern amongst others.
